Fringe sensations Racing Minds are back after five sell-out years!

A doddery grandfather can't quite remember his ripping yarn, but with your help a mystery stuffed with hilarious characters, whip-smart wit and breathtaking twists will take hasty shape before your very eyes. Anything could happen, but excitement is guaranteed in this improvised comic adventure based entirely on audience suggestions!

Racing Minds bring an exclusive hour of improvised literary mischief to Wantage. Strap in for a riotous evening of comic stories, scenes, songs, poems and maybe even some Shakespeare, all made up on the spot based on your suggestions!

The show is called 'Writer's Block' and each episode will last around 40 minutes. We can't tell you much more than to say it's a wonderfully silly hybrid of our podcasts and live shows, with all the Racing Minds madness that you (and we) know and love.

Doors open at 5.30pm, and we'll be recording FOUR EPISODES at each show:

Episode 1: 6pm - 6.45pm

Episode 2: 7pm - 7.45pm

Episode 3: 8.30pm - 9.15pm

Episode 4: 9.30 - 10.15pm

You can come to as many as you like, and the venue serves great pizza to keep you going. Even better, it's free admission! ABSOLUTELY FREE!

“Belgium Vs England” - what a game you wanna say ? That’s right ! When the crazy, imaginative and absurd British meet the surrealistic and creative Belgians, it leads undoubtedly to fireworks. To represent England, let’s meet the Racing Minds, a long-form improv quintet, formed in 2010 and has met success 2 years in a row at world famous Edinburgh Comedy festival. For Belgium, we will have spectacular members of the professional Belgian improv League. Two teams, one stage and themes given by the public, that’s going to be some serious crazy stuff. Be sure to be there to cheer for your favourite team.
